Our DRO systems provide up to 3 axis position readout for a milling machine, lathe, horizontal boring mill, surface grinder, OD grinder etc. Advanced functions such as Bolt Hole Patterns, multi-plane Radius/Incline milling, and directional tool compensation, make every day machining tasks easier, increase productivity and reduce defects.
Quality and Reliability
Each ZS Instruments DRO system conforms to the stringent IPC-A-610 class III high reliability requirements for design, assembly and inspection of electronics. DRO Mother boards go through a rigous cleaning process to remove residual flux and other corrosives, and then receive a layer of Conformal Coating, practice common in Military & Aerospace indsutries. This provides a previously unseen level of reliability and guards DRO electronics from hostile environment such as exposure to metal dust, moisture, aggressive vapors, and fungus.
Advanced Optical Technology
ZS Instruments Glass Scales produced under class 100 cleanroom environment and feature Patent Pending sensor technologies. Only optical encoders provide native 5um (0.0002”) resolution without relying on approximation and ensure a consistent level of precision and repeatability over the entire lifespan. In addition, compared with magnetic and/or inductive technology, glass scales are not affected by presence of metal dust and external magnetic fields.

Essential Features
ZS Instruments DRO displays always come with full 3 axis capabilities, regardless of number of scales purchased with the kit. 2nd and 3rd axis can be easily disabled or re-enabled in the settings menu. Interchanging between machine is made easy – all of our displays are also UNIVERSAL, with user selectable Mill or Lathe functionality.

. This item is
GUARANTEED
against DOA. All warranty claims are handled through our Indiana facility. Defective items will be replaced or repaired upon receipt and completion of inspection process. Defects caused by improper installation, abuse, physical damage, and normal tear and wear are not covered. Buyer pays return shipping, in most cases we will ship a replacement unit but reserve the right to issue a full refund. Please, review our return policy.
